Escrick and Deighton Village Hall
Situated behind the tennis courts and Escrick & Deighton Social Club on Main Street, the Village Hall is the meeting place for many local groups, including the Escrick Playgroup, Monday Players, Young Farmers, Bowls Club, Hot Tap Dance Class, Pilates Evening Class and the Yorkshire Countrywomen's Association.
The Village Hall received a £144,204 Lottery grant in 2008 which was used to extend and refurbish the village hall, provide an extra meeting room, modernise the kitchen, improve disabled access and toilet facilities and increase storage space.
The village hall is also available for fundraising events or private functions - it is approximately 15x9 metres with adjoining committee room and kitchen. The latter is well equipped with electric ovens, fridges, dishwashers, crockery and cutlery. For details of availability and hiring rates, please contact the Booking Secretary (see below).
The hall is administered by a small committee supplemented by representatives from the above. New committee members are always welcome - if you're interested, please contact us.
