AGE UK BUS SERVICE

Age UK Selby District is hoping to set up a door to door shopping service in Escrick.

They have an 11 seater minibus which can collect residents from the village and transport them to a supermarket (possibly Waitrose or Morrisons on Foss Islands Road) on either a Monday or Tuesday each week. The driver picks up at each client’s home and delivers them to the supermarket where they would get approx 1hr to complete their shopping before the return journey home.  The driver helps load the bags onto the bus and carries the shopping into the house.
